Removes weeds not only between rows but also between seedlings grown in the same row. It works the entire field in single passes, avoiding the need to go over the same area multiple times to complete the job. It consists of an articulated frame capable of moving laterally with respect to the direction of travel through hydraulic pistons. The machine is composed of a number of units equal to the number of rows to be weeded. Each unit is equipped with an infrared optical bar capable of detecting, during forward movement, the presence or absence of cultivated plants. Each unit also features a pair of hydraulically operated arms, at the ends of which interactive blades are installed. These blades work at adjustable depth and can eliminate weeds up to one centimetre from the cultivated plant.
